 Description: Cereus peruvianus 'Cristata Monstruosa is  a fascinating cactus known for its unique, sculptural forms. The colored thorns on this tree look very pretty but do not sting at all, making it safe to h&le. Its vibrant green, crested shapes resemble a coral tree, topped with white wool, creating a striking visual effect. This compact cultivar is perfect for indoor & outdoor displays, showcasing varied crested forms that enhance its allure. It thrives in bright light & well-draining soil, making it an excellent choice for both novice & experienced gardeners.

 Poting mix (Soil):

 Incorporating manure, FYM (farmyard manure), AMF (arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi), & vermicompost can enhance the nutrient content while maintaining good drainage. Here's a simple potting mix:

 Potting Mix Recipe:

1. Cactus Potting Soil  40%

2. Perlite: 30%

3. Coarse S&: 20%

4. Well-Rotted Farmyard Manure (FYM) 5%

5. Vermicompost: 5%

6. AMF (optional): Follow package instructions for the recommended amount.

 Tips:

- Ensure the mix is well-draining.

- Mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution of nutrients.

- Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.

 Watering: This plant should be thoroughly watered till it becomes hundred percent wet, & water should be given only once a week, keep in mind that The pot should dry up to 82-90%. Only after that you should give your water & you can check by putting your finger in the pot to see how much percent the pot has dried.

 Fertilization:  Give micronutrients once in a month with water & within 30 to 25 days you can give any type of fungal side if in fungal side. If we use the name conika in it, it is very effective for cactus & succulent 

Use: It can be cultivated outdoors in raised beds, terraces if sheltered from winter rain / If you want this plant indoors or on a table Or if you want to keep it in the office, you can keep it in the sun for two days out of the week & the rest of the days where you want to keep it, but it needs indirect sunlight for at least two to three days out of the week.
