1. Perfect Cactus Potting Mix

Cactus soil must be fast-draining, airy, and gritty.

• 50% River Sand – Medium grain (Bajri to Chana Dal size)
• 30% Cow Dung Compost – 8–9 months old
• 20% Garden Soil – Small binding component

Secret Additives:

• Thimet (2%)
• DAP (5%)
• Fungicide (small amount)

2. How to Pot Cactus

• Dip roots in rooting hormone + fungicide
• Plant in dry soil
• Do not water for 4–5 days

3. Watering Rule (Most Important)

Only water when soil is 80–90% dry.

• Never follow fixed schedule
• Always water deeply
